Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel, Construction - 3 month FTC

Summary: The role of Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel focuses on providing legal support for non-contentious construction and infrastructure matters, particularly involving JCT and NEC contracts. The position requires a UK qualified solicitor with over five years of post-qualification experience to work closely with stakeholders and shape legal strategies on live projects. This is a fully remote position based in the UK, offered as a 3-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension. Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts (primarily JCT and NEC)
• Advising on contractual risk, negotiation strategy and commercial options
• Supporting project teams across a range of infrastructure and construction projects
• Liaising with external counsel where required
• Acting as a trusted legal advisor to the wider business

Key Skills:

• UK qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 5 years' plus PQE
• Strong background in non-contentious construction law
• Proven experience working with JCT and NEC suites
• Exposure within infrastructure work
• Comfortable working fully remotely (UK-based)

Salary (Rate): 120000
