Summary: A leading telecommunications company is seeking to hire a Legal Counsel to provide generalist commercial support for its UK-based, fully remote division. The role involves delivering pragmatic legal advice, managing legal workloads, and overseeing contract-related matters. This position is available on a monthly rolling contract basis with an immediate start. The day rate for this role ranges from £350 to £450.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across the business.
• Collaborate with business units to manage legal workload and expectations effectively.
• Draft, negotiate, and review partner, customer, and supplier contracts.
• Maintain and update precedent contracts and terms & conditions as needed.
• Lead and project manage contract-related matters, ensuring service descriptions, SLAs, pricing, and other commercial terms are properly reviewed and approved without delays.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Lawyer/Solicitor (England & Wales), ideally with 4+ years PQE in commercial law.
• Experience in general commercial law.
• Proven in-house legal experience.
• Able to start immediately.
