Summary: The Legal Counsel at Sumsub will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth by managing legal matters related to contracts and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and assessing income & expenditure contracts daily.
  • Providing support in RFP procedures involving custom contractual terms.
  • Drafting, amending, and systematizing contractual templates and legal correspondence.
  • Communicating with counterparties and stakeholders regarding contracts.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve the contract review process.
  • Assisting other departments on contract-related matters.

Key Skills:

  • University degree in law (LL.B., preferably LL.M.).
  • 3+ years of experience in an international environment.
  • Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents in English.
  • Good knowledge of civil law, corporate law, and private international law.
  • Strong attention to detail and integrity.
  • General understanding of privacy laws, including GDPR.
  • Knowledge of common law, particularly English law.
  • Experience in consulting or IT/regtech companies is preferable.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC compliance principles is a plus.
