Summary: The Technical Lead - Web position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in web application development and server-side programming. The role emphasizes strong familiarity with databases, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices, alongside a solid background in JavaScript frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web services using microservices architecture. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy web applications and services.

  • Work with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Qualifications
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
Strong hands-on experience with server-side programming (e.g. Node.js, SpringBoot)
Experience with could platform preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS.
Strong Devops experience including and not limited to github, bamboo, sonarqube
7+ years building modern web applications/sites in a professional environment
7+ years experiences in designing, developing, integrating and deploying web services (with REST/SOAP/JSON/XML) using micro services architecture
Minimum of 6 years with JavaScript and proficient in at least one modern JavaScript framework (AngularJS preferred) - including the ability to work with remote APIs and third-party web services, loading data asynchronously, understanding state management, using JavaScript templates and dynamic views
