Summary: The Lead UX/Product Designer will play a pivotal role in an award-winning digital design agency, focusing on creating user-centered digital products for a 12-month contract. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design intuitive interfaces that meet both user needs and business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the UX vision, ensuring consistency and usability across all digital products.
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Develop user journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs to enhance usability and engagement.
- Align design solutions with business goals and technical constraints, balancing user needs with scalability and feasibility.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into impactful product experiences.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze data, and iterate on designs to continuously improve product performance.
- Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across the product ecosystem.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in UX/Product Design, with a proven track record in designing digital products within Banking or Fintech.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma for design and collaboration.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying data-driven design decisions.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams.
- A strategic mindset with a passion for solving complex user and business challenges.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively.
