This position is a full-time, one-month contract that is fully remote, specifically for candidates based in the UK. The consultant will leverage extensive software development experience to identify inefficiencies and architectural flaws within the codebase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth code reviews to identify inefficiencies, security risks, and architectural flaws.
• Diagnose critical issues and performance bottlenecks, suggesting practical fixes.
• Apply structured recovery plans to troubleshoot failing projects and stabilize codebases.
• Present findings to executives and create clear documentation and action plans for recovery.
• Influence teams and articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in software development, ideally as a Principal Engineer or Senior Architect.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and modern frameworks, particularly C#.NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong grasp of architectural principles, system scalability, and best practices for maintainability.
