Have the ability to assist requesters in refining business requirement details to ensure the customers will be receiving functionality requested.
Gain knowledge of our ServiceNow implementation to understand and identify cross platform impacts of changes or enhancements being requested.
Design, develop, and implement solutions including custom applications, workflows, catalog items, and integrations to meet complex business requirements
Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using javascript and ServiceNow APIs to extend capabilities and enhance user experience
Design and implement workflows to support business needs and increase automation
Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs
Build and maintain custom applications following best practice to ensure performance and maintainability
Work within the Agile methodology to develop, build and test alongside other developers to ensure the best product is delivered to requestors in a timely manner
Work with implementation partners, or internal project teams to Implement new modules as business needs evolve
Conduct regular ServiceNow version upgrades to ensure we remain compliant and supported by the vendor
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Must be eligible and willing to submit for U.S. Government security clearances; active clearance is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a relevant technical field
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
At least 5+ years experience working with the ServiceNow platform, preferably across SPM, ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, and HR modules
