Summary: The Lead SAP PPDS Solution Consultant will be responsible for implementing and managing SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling solutions, primarily in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively translate business needs into actionable plans for both onshore and offshore teams. The consultant will leverage extensive experience in production planning to ensure accurate and timely project delivery. A deep understanding of SAP PPDS functionalities and end-to-end implementation is essential for success in this position.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
- 10 15 Yrs Manufacturing/Automotive domain experience preferred.
- Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP ePP/DS) in an Automotive, manufacturing or any discrete industry is required.
- In depth experience in SAP Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities - interactive production planning, Detailed scheduling, Pegging, Production Planning table, Planning board, constraint-based planning, Model Mix Planning, Multilevel Scheduling and sequencing is required.
- Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management) is desired
- Experience in Cross-Location Planning, Automated Responses to changes in planning situation Multi-Level Constraint based Production Plan, Sub-daily Buckets, Telescopic Time Buckets, Time Dependent Safety Stock is required
- Experience in Automotive manufacturing or Repetitive manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional social skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of team members at all levels of the organization.
- Must Have:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- End-to-end SAP PP/DS implementation ownership Candidate must have led and owned at least one full E2E SAP PPDS implementation from initiation through go-live, not just participated in workstreams
- Deep hands-on SAP PP/DS (PPDS) experience Must have direct, hands-on configuration and functional experience in SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS); PP-only or QM-only profiles are disqualifying
- SAP PPDS Optimizer experience Must have specific experience with the PPDS Optimizer (constraint-based planning, heuristics, and optimization runs); this is a non-negotiable per hiring manager
- Advanced PPDS capability experience Must have in-depth working knowledge of: interactive production planning, Detailed Scheduling, Pegging, Production Planning Table, Planning Board, Model Mix Planning, Multilevel Scheduling and Sequencing, Cross-Location Planning, Sub-daily Buckets, Telescopic Time Buckets, and Time Dependent Safety Stock
