Summary: The Lead Salesforce Developer is responsible for the architectural design and technical development of Experience Cloud sites, focusing on performance, security, and governance. This role involves hands-on leadership in building advanced Lightning Web Components and integrating data and AI solutions. Additionally, the position requires effective stakeholder management and mentorship to ensure coding standards and project alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design & Strategy: Lead the end-to-end architecture of Experience Cloud sites, selecting between LWR and Aura templates based on performance and SEO needs.
- Security & Identity: Design robust security models using External Identity, SSO, and complex sharing mechanisms (Account Relationship Data Sharing, Apex Managed Sharing).
- Governance: Define the branching strategy and CI/CD pipelines specifically for Experience Cloud metadata, which is notoriously difficult to deploy.
- Technical Development (Hands-on Leadership): Build modular, high-performance Lightning Web Components specifically optimized for the LWR framework.
- Personalization: Implement Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS to deliver hyper-personalized content journeys.
- Process Automation: Design sophisticated workflows using Headless Flows and asynchronous Apex to handle high-volume external user transactions.
- Data & AI Integration: Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to surface unified customer profiles within the community for a 360-degree experience.
- API Management: Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (ERP, AWS, Marketing Cloud) via REST/SOAP and Named Credentials.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Enforce strict coding standards to ensure governor limit compliance and scalability.
- Stakeholder Management: Present technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and translate business requirements into technical user stories.
