Summary: The Lead QA Automation Test Engineer will support a large-scale data and application standardization initiative by designing, developing, and executing both automated and manual testing solutions. This role requires collaboration with Agile Scrum teams and focuses on ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in test automation, SQL, ETL processes, and CI/CD integration. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks
- Create and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements
- Identify, document, track, and validate defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle
- Integrate automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain testing standards, processes, and quality metrics
- Participate in code reviews and promote QA automation best practices across engineering teams
- Analyze technical and product artifacts to verify application quality
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum teams during sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Leverage synthetic test data and work with data management teams to support testing efforts
- Create testing documentation, project status reports, and quality metrics
- Mentor junior QA and automation engineers
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality management processes

Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Test Engineer to support a large-scale data and application standardization initiative. This role will focus on designing, developing, and executing automated and manual testing solutions while ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with test automation, SQL, ETL processes, Teradata, Snowflake, and CI/CD integration. This individual will work closely with Agile Scrum teams, participate in sprint activities, and contribute to the development of scalable test frameworks and quality assurance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks
Create and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements
Identify, document, track, and validate defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle
