Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for mainframe applications.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in mainframe testing.
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
  • Familiarity with batch job testing and data validation.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Mainframe Testers to join our remote QA team. As a Mainframe Tester, you will be responsible for validating and verifying mainframe applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and function correctly. This is a great opportunity to work with a global team on enterprise-level systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for mainframe applications.
Design, develop, and execute test cases for mainframe systems (e.g., COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
