Summary: The role of Lead IT Business Systems Analyst involves leading the requirements gathering for APIs that connect third-party systems to an internal insurance quoting system for a Fortune 500 client. This position is remote and requires collaboration with business teams to analyze and document system requirements while ensuring adherence to industry standards. The analyst will also provide leadership in project planning and execution, as well as perform post-validation testing. The position operates on Eastern Time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business to analyze current system requirements and translate those requirements into specifications for Quoting API workflow.
• Recommend and implement industry accepted tools, techniques, methodologies, best practices, and standards to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze business requirements.
• Articulate business needs and apply industry-accepted tools and techniques to produce new and/or improved solutions.
• Collaborate with business customers on complex, strategically planned systems enhancements or new system designs.
• Provide guidance to others on the requirements process, tools, and techniques.
• Lead requirement review sessions to ensure standards adherence.
• Provide leadership and oversight in the high-level planning, execution, deployment, and closing phases of a project.
• Perform post-validation testing, with a desire to do some QA testing.
