Summary: The Lead Front End Developer will play a pivotal role in a cutting-edge AI and data platform project, focusing on creating high-performance user interfaces. This position involves collaboration with product teams, mentoring developers, and hands-on coding to deliver an innovative front-end product. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Product team and CPO to help shape the design and functionality of the front end.
- Take ownership of the UI/UX direction, delivering rapid prototypes to test concepts and gather feedback.
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers, while remaining actively involved in hands-on coding.
- Design and develop dashboard UIs and visualisations that are both elegant and informative.
- Help define and embed UI/UX best practices into the project and broader organisation.
Key Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and AWS.
- Proven experience leading a small front end team, ideally in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
- A sharp eye for UI & UX design, with a track record of delivering high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
- Passion for innovation, with an analytical and research-driven mindset.
- Experience or interest in working with AI toolkits.

We are working with a fast-growing tech company who are embarking on a major project to launch an AI-enabled Front End product by the end of 2025. This product will give analysts rich insights and enable customers to run complex models directly from an intuitive, interactive dashboard.
The Role
As the Lead Front End Developer, you will:
