Summary: The Lead Facilitator for the AI for Software Developers Program is responsible for overseeing the execution of an 11-week AI education initiative aimed at upskilling software engineers. This role involves learning design, technical facilitation, and student support, ensuring participants gain practical AI development experience. The position requires full-time commitment during ET working hours and includes leading lectures, workshops, and providing technical support. The contract spans 3.5 months, from March to June 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine lecture content, workshops, and learning materials to align with program outcomes.
- Structure learning experiences that combine theory, hands-on coding, and real-world applications.
- Design interactive exercises and technical challenges to reinforce AI concepts.
- Lead live lectures and technical workshops, guiding students through AI concepts and coding exercises.
- Provide 1:1 coaching and troubleshooting on technical challenges related to Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab, and Hugging Face.
- Oversee ~60 students, tracking engagement and identifying those who may need additional support.
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to manage student communications and program logistics.
Key Skills:
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with AI/ML tools (Hugging Face, Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab).
- Confident leading lectures, running workshops, and guiding student discussions.
- Skilled in structuring AI learning experiences that balance theory and practice.
- Able to manage program execution, student progress, and learning outcomes.
- Works well with community managers, SMEs, and guest speakers to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
