Lead Fabric Data Engineer

The Role

  • Architect & Build: Deliver end-to-end solutions across Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Warehouse.
  • Pipeline Engineering: Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines via Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, and Spark Notebooks.
  • Data Architecture: Build out Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using medallion architecture and design enterprise conformed data models.
  • Governance & Security: Implement data governance, lineage, and cataloguing using Microsoft Purview alongside core Azure security/networking.
  • DevOps Culture: Embed Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices into the platform delivery.

What We Are Looking For

  • Fabric Expertise: Proven, hands-on commercial experience delivering production-grade Microsoft Fabric platforms.
  • Technical Stack: Advanced SQL, Python, and Spark engineering skills.
  • Data Modelling: Strong background in canonical, dimensional, and enterprise-level data modelling.
  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep understanding of the wider Azure data landscape and Microsoft Purview.
  • Delivery Focus: Ability to operate as a hands-on lead, collaborating smoothly with architects, analysts, and senior stakeholders.
