Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and highly skilled Dynamics Lead Developer to lead the development, customization, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 solutions, with a primary focus on the redesign of a NYC mobile app, a widely used public-facing platform with millions of users. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development responsibilities and requires deep expertise in Dynamics 365, Azure services, and DevOps. You will be responsible for overseeing platform upgrades, assisting with leading the build, configuration, and custom development of Dynamics 365 solutions, and contributing to the end-to-end modernization of the mobile application. The ideal candidate is an experienced developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and can deliver scalable, high-performance solutions for mission-critical public sector services.

Duties:

• Serve as the technical lead for the build, configuration, and custom development of Dynamics 365-based solutions.

• Lead and participate in hands-on development tasks related to the platform modernization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-quality mobile app features.

• Support platform upgrades and ensure stability, performance, and compliance with evolving standards.

• Guide DevOps processes and leverage Azure services for scalable deployments and integrations.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 9+ years of professional experience

• 5+ years of Dynamics 365 experience (hands-on customization and configuration)

• 2+ years of Azure services experience (e.g., Functions, App Services, DevOps Pipelines)

• Knowledge of DevOps best practices and CI/CD implementation

• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working with public sector clients

• Familiarity with the NYC OTI environment or other city government agencies
