Lead Drupal Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Drupal Developer to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Drupal-based applications.

This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to guide a team of developers in delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Drupal developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
• Architect, design, and implement complex Drupal solutions, including custom modules and themes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical documentation.
• Oversee integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Stay current with Drupal advancements and recommend improvements to processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Drupal 8/9/10, including custom module and theme development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Expertise in Drupal architecture, site building, and configuration management.
• Familiarity with Twig templates, Composer, and Drush.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Drupal Commerce and enterprise-level Drupal implementations.
• Knowledge of Acquia, Pantheon, or other Drupal hosting platforms.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Contribution to the Drupal community (modules, patches, forums) is a plus.
