Summary: The Lead DevOps Engineer role requires an experienced professional with active Security Clearance (SC) and expertise in ITIL and application management. The position involves leading a team of Application Support Engineers and managing applications within Azure environments, particularly in the healthcare sector. The role is primarily remote and is offered through a well-known consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Application Support Engineers.
- Manage applications in Azure environments.
- Utilize ITIL practices in application management.
- Work closely with a key end client.
- Develop solutions within Healthcare, specifically with InterSystems Health Share and Health Connect.
- Understand EMPI, PD, Integration engine, and IRIS.
Key Skills:
- Active Security Clearance (SC).
- Proven experience as a Lead DevOps / Application Support Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL.
- Experience in application management in Azure environments.
- Development experience within Healthcare.
- ITIL Certification (nice to have).
- Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft .Net, Terraform, and Ansible (nice to have).
- Experience with Azure DevOps / Jira (nice to have).
Salary (Rate): £530 per day

My Client is an instantly recognisable Consultancy, who require a Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer that holds Active SC (Security) Clearance, as well as ITIL and application management, to work closely with a key end client.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead DevOps / Application Support Engineer with Active Security Clearance (SC)
- Experience leading team of Application Support Engineers
- Proven experience in application management in Azure environments
- Strong Knowledge of ITIL
- Experience of development within Healthcare (InterSystems Health Share and Health Connect)
