Summary: The Lead Data Engineer will oversee major system migrations for E-commerce and product management systems, focusing on developing a future-proof data migration service. This role requires hands-on engineering skills and leadership experience in managing teams and third-party providers. The position is fully remote but requires occasional office visits for workshops. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage third-party teams undertaking major system migrations.
• Develop a strategy and prototype for a future-proof data migration service.
• Implement a standard set of Azure/SQL infrastructure for data migration.
• Integrate with Data dictionary/MDM tools and create a library of reusable functions.
• Lead and mentor other engineers and coordinate with third-party consultancies.
