Summary: The Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, particularly in AWS services. The position emphasizes leadership capabilities, hands-on expertise in managing complex environments, and a strong understanding of network architecture and cloud migrations. Key Responsibilities:
- 13-15 years total experience, with at least 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles, with at least 2-3 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, EBS, ENI, IPAM, and IAM.
- Deep knowledge of network architecture, subnetting, and BGP routing in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Proven expertise in Terraform and managing complex environments through IaC.
- Experience planning and executing on-prem to cloud migrations (CIA).
- Strong understanding of resiliency, reliability, and best practices for high availability infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success in multi-VPC design and management across large-scale environments.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.
