Summary: We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst / Scrum Master with extensive experience in the Hospitality or Cruise domain, particularly with Property Management Systems (PMS). This role involves leading Agile teams, conducting business and technical analysis, and supporting digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business analysis and Agile methodologies. This is a critical position that requires a seasoned professional to drive strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze technical and functional business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical specifications.
- Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and ensuring Agile best practices.
- Support product owners in backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Design and recommend logical, scalable, and flexible solutions to streamline or automate business processes.
- Standardize processes to reduce redundancy and improve quality.
- Lead incident and bug triage processes.
- Drive test plan creation for QA, UAT, and regression testing.
- Coordinate and manage UAT with business users.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops across globally distributed teams.
- Maintain transparency and alignment with all levels of stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of total IT/Business Analysis experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems/Functional Analyst.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile teams (Scrum Certification preferred).
- Strong domain knowledge in Hospitality or Cruise Industry.
- Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is highly preferred.
- Experience in process automation and optimization initiatives.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Visio).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience in documenting process flows, conducting root cause analysis, and mentoring junior team members.
- Familiarity with various SDLC and Agile methodologies.
