Summary: The role of Lawson Developer involves working as an experienced programmer/analyst for Lawson S3 Finance and Supply Chain applications. The candidate is expected to have extensive programming experience, particularly in COBOL and SQL, and must be familiar with the Lawson Development Workbench. The position requires collaboration with team members and users, along with a strong focus on problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experienced programmer/Analyst for the Lawson S3 Finance and Supply Chain applications.
- 7 years programming experience, preferably in the Lawson Finance ERP environment.
- 5 years experience as a COBOL program developer, preferably MS-COBOL.
- 3 years experience in a Finance ERP environment.
- Required Lawson Development Workbench experience in coding and compiling.
- Required - strong SQL programming skills.
- Required - Landmark IPA workflow programming experience.
- Must have some knowledge of Financial and Supply Chain components, how it is all integrated into other Finance modules, with HCM, external vendors, financial institutions, and government entities.
- Collaborative team member.
- Must be a problem solver and a willingness to brainstorm with colleagues and users.
- Good communication skills when in a team environment, meetings and when collaborating with the user community.
- Candidate has project work experience and Go Live migration experience.
- Willing to perform Production Support duties and being on-call.
- Must be able to articulate solutions and document it.
- Adhoc reporting skills are a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook are a plus.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality, and a strong mind-set of data security.
