Piper Maddox are excited to be partnering with a leading international Renewable Energy IPP with a key addition to their UK development team. Our client has been a constant presence in the market for over 20 years and are one of the most stably funded businesses in the industry. In addition to this investment, they have an excellent portfolio of Solar, BESS, and Onshore Wind across the UK totaling over 2GW.
This role will be focused on expanding their Solar pipeline across England & Wales - suitable Onshore Wind sites would also prove valuable. For this planned growth, they are aiming to add a Land Acquisition Specialist to their team on a 12 month contract, with scope for extension further on conclusion. This role also has the scope to develop into a leadership role for a future land division/team.
In this role, you would be responsible for identifying suitable Solar sites, landowner engagement, negotiation of exclusivity agreements, heads of terms, and closing of option agreements, as well as the management of key rural and agricultural stakeholders.
Contract Specifics:
- 12 month contract term initially with scope for extension.
- Significant financial incentives for successful land transaction milestones.
