Summary: The L&D Instructional Designer role requires a professional who can effectively interpret and translate Lean Portfolio and Product Management concepts into practical content for diverse audiences. The position emphasizes collaboration with practitioners to create various documentation types, including executive briefings and training materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual communication skills and a proven ability to consolidate information into coherent artifacts. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate complex operating models into executive briefings, contributor-level guides, audit-ready documentation, and training content.
- Work directly with practitioners to extract practical applications of Lean Portfolio and Product Management concepts.
- Create PowerPoint presentations and visual communications for flow diagrams and role maps.
- Produce condensed executive overviews, role cards, onboarding checklists, and facilitation guides.
- Develop audit evidence templates and maintain a terminology glossary for consistent language.
- Structure and update the handbook and playbook, including SharePoint management.
Key Skills:
- Strong grasp of Lean Portfolio & Product Management concepts (preferably SAFe, Disciplined Agile, or Gartner-aligned).
- 5–7 years of experience in portfolio management, product management, or enterprise change documentation.
- Ability to interview SMEs and leaders to extract decisions and workflows.
- Proven track record in creating narrative and visual enablement content.
- Skilled in PowerPoint and visual communication.
- Strong editing and consolidation skills.

Experience to Require
• At least 5–7 years in portfolio management, product management, or enterprise change/enablement documentation
• Experience supporting portfolio/product or agile transformations or security-related portfolios
• Ability to interview SMEs and leaders to extract decisions, workflows, and rationale
• Proven track record creating both narrative and visual enablement content
