Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture for Kubernetes cluster management using Cluster API (CAPI).
- Deep practical Kubernetes experience (cluster operations/platform building).
- Design and oversee implementation of Metal³ bare-metal provisioning, including integration with Ironic.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure (networking, security, storage, VMware vSphere).
- Produce architecture documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to customer and internal teams.
- Proven hands-on experience with Cluster API (CAPI).
- Experience with Metal³/Metal Kubed, including PXE/Ironic-driven provisioning.
- Experience with declarative automation (GitOps, YAML, IaC).

Bench IT require an of experienced Solution Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes cluster life cycle automation, specifically using Cluster API (CAPI) and ideally, the Metal³ (Metal Cubed) provider for bare-metal provisioning.
The Consultant will work across design, define architecture and patterns, and provide technical oversight for the deployment and integration of a Kubernetes cluster management platform across bare metal and SUSE and Rancher environments.
This is a customer-facing role requiring both strategic architecture and practical implementation leadership.
Responsibilities & Experience:
