Summary: The KBM Developer role is a remote position requiring expertise in the KBM Manufacturing System and RPG programming. The candidate will be responsible for software development, system integration, and collaborating with a diverse team. Occasional travel to customer locations may be necessary. A bachelor's degree or significant experience in development is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize the KBM Manufacturing System to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with a distributed team while working independently.
- Conduct code reviews and testing for software solutions.
- Integrate Infor KBM with external systems and manage system libraries.
- Utilize SQL, RPGle, and CLP languages for software development.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of experience in software development.

Details Description of Required skills
Infor KBM Expertise:
- Experience in configuring and customizing Infor KBM to meet business requirements.
- Understanding of Infor KBM functionality such data integration.
- Knowledge of specific Infor KBM modules and their interactions with AS400. Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Infor KBM
Proficiency in RPG Programming:
- Knowledge of RPG IV (ILE RPG) syntax and structures.
- Understanding of RPG free-format coding.
- Experience with RPG sub-procedures, modules, and service programs.
- Familiarity with embedded SQL in RPG.
- Ability to optimize and debug RPG code effectively.
AS400 (IBM iSeries) Environment:
- Proficiency in navigating the AS400 (IBM iSeries) operating system.
- Understanding of system libraries, objects, and file management.
- Familiarity with Work Management (WRKACTJOB, WRKUSRJOB, etc.).
- Experience with job scheduling, job logs, and spool files.
- Understanding of security and user profiles in AS400.
System Integration & Middleware:
- Experience with system integration tools for AS400 (e.g., MQ, SOAP, REST APIs).
- Ability to integrate Infor KBM with external systems.
- Familiarity with message queues, triggers, and service programs.
