Overview
The client is supporting MITRE in augmenting their IT organization with a network-focused resource to assist with ongoing operational demand and CMMC readiness initiatives. This role is designed to offload operational and mid-tier engineering work from MITRE s internal team, allowing focus on higher-complexity compliance and design efforts.
The resource will operate under the direction of MITRE IT and in coordination with RSM, supporting both steady-state network operations and in-flight infrastructure and security initiatives. While execution-focused, the role requires strong hands-on engineering capability within a Juniper-centric environment.
In addition to day-to-day support, the resource will assist with implementation of CMMC-driven configuration changes and contribute to ongoing initiatives, including completion of a large-scale Juniper switching refresh and continued rollout of Cisco ISE NAC capabilities.
