Summary: We are looking for a skilled Juniper Network Engineer for a 12-month fully remote contract. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing Juniper network infrastructure in large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Juniper technologies and a strong focus on delivery. This position is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and support Juniper network infrastructure (routing and switching)
- Deploy and maintain Juniper platforms such as MX, EX, SRX, QFX
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VRFs, VLANs
- Perform network upgrades, migrations, and changes in line with change management processes
- Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents and performance issues
- Work closely with internal teams (security, cloud, operations) to support business requirements
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper Networks technologies
- In-depth knowledge of JunOS
- Solid understanding of Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking
- Proven experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
- Experience in enterprise or service provider network environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

We are seeking an experienced Juniper Network Engineer to join our network engineering team on a 12-month contract. The role is fully remote and will focus on the design, implementation, support, and optimisation of Juniper-based network infrastructure in a large-scale enterprise or service provider environment.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Juniper routing and switching technologies and will be comfortable working in a contract, delivery-focused role.
