Summary: The role is for a Junior Oracle DBA with expertise in AWS and Postgres, requiring experience in managing cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer relational database management systems (RDBMS), preferably Postgres and Amazon Redshift.
  • Design and develop complex SQL queries and reports to retrieve required data.
  • Analyze and tune queries to improve performance.
  • Work with cloud-native database solutions, including AWS RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Participate in Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Implement database partitioning and microservices.
  • Maintain and support a complex build system.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with a complex build system.
  • 3+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, and administration of RDBMS.
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud-native database solutions.
  • Ability to design and develop complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with database partitioning and microservices.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies or SDLC.
  • Experience analyzing and tuning queries for performance improvement.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Comp Science/Engineering/Math.

Client has a need for a JUNIOR level Oracle DBA with AWS and Postgres experience

Experience managing cloud infrastructure is a must in AWS

IaC tools experience with Terraform, Tableau or Crossplane- not a must but if they know it, or able to learn it

NO Azure, Microsoft tools, MS SQL- anyone who has that experience is not fit for this role.

Government experience a plus or prior clearances held

Visa: work authorizations

5+ years overall experience

Bachelor s Degree in IT/Comp Science/Engineering/Math

100% REMOTE
