Key Responsibilities:

  • Research (concepts/furniture/art etc) and trend analysis
  • Design documentation
  • Mood board creation
  • Material sourcing
  • Coordination of diaries
  • Manage list of suppliers & contractors (art galleries, artists, freelancers, joiners etc)
  • Keep all documentation and filing in order
  • Maintain sample library
  • Assist with evolution / creation and documentation of new work systems

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCad - ability to confidently develop plans, elevations, sections etc - rendering skills are a plus

About Studio Mercy We are a multi-disciplinary team of designers, stylists, technologists and creators based outside of London, working across a global portfolio of projects. Our work spans high-end residential projects, hospitality, and wellness spaces, always with the intention to create environments that feel as good as they look. The Opportunity: There is 1 opening available for: 1 x flexible freelance Junior Designer: (rate TBD - dependent on skill set and experience) Duration: 3 months - 1 year (with a pathway to full-time employment) The role is remote, however, we’re ideally looking for someone based in London. You will require your own laptop, a suitable space to work from with a stable internet connection where you can make and receive calls.

You’ll most likely have a degree in interior design, design school or equivalent experience, but what matters most to us is your mindset.
