Summary: The Junior HR Generalist at Canonical will support the HR function for the EMEA region, focusing on enhancing HR processes and providing assistance to team members regarding employment-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support by answering team members' questions and responding to requests regarding their employment and contracts.
  • Maintain HRIS with accuracy and timeliness in processing team member changes and new joiners.
  • Own global projects related to engagement, training, or culture initiatives.
  • Partner with managers and employees to support HR processes and drive the people strategy.
  • Process new hires, including onboarding documentation and coordination of introductory reviews.
  • Support employees with benefits enrollment and payroll processes.
  • Liaise with payroll to ensure smooth salary payments.
  • Create purchase orders for internal departments and provide administrative support for benefits processing.
  • Conduct regular audits of employment files and systems for accuracy and GDPR compliance.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to enhance HR function efficiency.
