2481 Junior Software Developer - AberdeenWe have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior Developer to join our team for a period of 12 months. Ideally you will be based in Aberdeen, but we may also consider candidates who have a preference for remote working. As Junior Developer you will be the primary contact for the web and vb.net application support (and other in-house applications within a digital services team and will follow the full lifecycle of software development from new request and scoping to minor enhancement and bug fixing. This role may suit a recent software development graduate.What you ll do Act as the primary contact for web and VB.net application support (and other in-house applications) within a Digital Services team and follow the full life cycle of software development from new request and scoping to minor enhancement and bug fixingSupport a wide range of in-house applications with a wide range of users Support the introduction of new applications and the evolution and bug fixing of existing in-house application listTrack and manage the work and discuss this planning with the Digital Services Team and Resident DeveloperProduce user guides and technical support documentation for any new and existing in-house software developmentsManage the version control of enhancements and to follow guidelines for developing Meet with end users, gather user development requirements and present demos to various levels within the businessWhat to bringExperience of VB.Net, ASP.Net and VBA programming languages using a combination of Visual Studio, MS Access and MS Excel.
