Summary: The role of Jira and Confluence Administrator is a remote position focused on providing advanced support and guidance for the Atlassian ecosystem, ensuring its stability and performance. The administrator will be responsible for managing both on-premise and cloud environments, addressing user issues, and supporting customer implementation projects. This position requires a strong technical background in Jira and Confluence administration, along with excellent communication skills to advocate for customer needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Jira and Confluence, addressing user-reported issues, permissions, and configurations.
- Respond to ad-hoc queries via Slack and other platforms.
- Create and maintain internal and customer-facing technical documentation.
- Guide and support customer implementation projects and enhancement requests.
- Deliver ad-hoc learning content to promote customer self-sufficiency.
- Assist with Jira board configurations and JQL tuning.
- Troubleshoot access, permissions, and integration issues.
- Install, test, and implement new versions of Atlassian tools and apps.
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance of the Atlassian suite.
- Create and manage complex Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Jira and Confluence systems.
- Automate Jira functionality using scripts.
- Lead system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Evaluate and deploy Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations.
- Support cloud migration and hybrid deployment strategies.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure compliance with internal security and audit requirements.
- Participate in change management and incident response processes.

Key Skills:
- 4+ years in IT support and customer engagement.
