Jfrog SME / DevOps Engineer

Summary: We are seeking a JFrog Artifactory Specialist for a remote contract role focused on a DevOps transformation project within the financial data and technology sector. This position involves taking ownership of the JFrog Artifactory platform, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security while collaborating with various technical teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps and platform engineering, with proven experience in administering JFrog Artifactory in production environments. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the JFrog Artifactory platform from administration to long-term improvement.
• Act as the main point of contact between the platform engineering team and internal technical stakeholders.
• Lead zero-downtime upgrades, ensure scalability and security, and champion platform reliability.
• Work closely with DevSecOps and CI/CD teams to embed Artifactory as a key part of the developer platform and software supply chain.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience administering JFrog Artifactory in production environments.
• Comfortable with installations, upgrades, HA setups, and platform performance monitoring.
• Experience with JFrog Xray or similar artifact security tooling (Snyk, Nexus IQ, etc.).
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• Background in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
• Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
