Summary: The JDE Finance Consultant role involves supporting the ongoing QAD JDE migration project, primarily focusing on finance-related tasks. This senior-level position requires expertise in configuration, design documentation, and testing activities within the finance workstream. The consultant will lead finance sessions and ensure successful integration across various finance modules while working remotely with occasional travel to Santa Clara, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Finance working sessions and produce BRDs/FDs for GL, AP, AR, FA, cost accounting, intercompany, and multicurrency.
  • Configure AAIs, COA/companies/business units, and validate Mfg/Procurement/Inventory Finance postings (inventory, WIP, COGS, 3-way match).
  • Partner with Integration (OIC/EDI) to validate mappings; perform unit test, support SIT/UAT, and drive defect triage.
  • Support cutover (trial balance/open items reconciliation) and stabilization.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years JDE E1 Financials (v9.1/9.2) in manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on with AAI design, intercompany/eliminations, multicurrency, and Financial Integrity reports.
  • Proven cross-module integration (Mfg/Proc/Inv/Dist) and data migration validation.
  • Strong workshop facilitation and documentation; comfortable working alongside offshore teams.

Position: JDE Finance Consultant
Location: Remote with Occasional travel to Santa Clara, CA (up to 5 trips)
Duration: ~9 months

JDE Finance Functional resource to support the ongoing QAD JDE migration (Santa Clara) project.

This would be a senior-level JDE Finance consultant focused on execution assisting Mak with configuration, design documentation, and testing activities for the Finance workstream.

Scope of Work:

  • Effort: 100% allocation
  • Focus: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cost Accounting, Intercompany, and cross-module Finance integration
  • Expected deliverables: BRD support, configuration, testing, and cutover readiness
  • Work model: Primarily remote with occasional travel to Santa Clara (up to 5 trips)
