Summary: The JD Edwards E1 Developer role is a 100% remote position focused on leading the design, development, and implementation of customizations in JD Edwards Enterprise One. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and involves mentoring junior developers. The contract is for 6 months with the potential for hire. The role emphasizes technical leadership and staying current with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex customizations and enhancements in JD Edwards Enterprise One.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain advanced JDE components including Business Functions (BSFN), NERs, UBE, Orchestrations, and custom integrations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and support staff.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Participate in strategic planning for ERP upgrades, module implementations, and system integrations.
  • Stay current with JDE updates, tools, and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and required by management.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with JDE 9.2+ and Tools Release 9.2.x.
  • Familiarity with BI Publisher, JDE Security, and Workflow.

  • Background in Agile/Scrum or DevOps environments.

  • Expertise in JDE development tools (FDA, RDA, BSFN, NER, UBE, Orchestrator).
  • Strong knowledge of JDE modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Procurement.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, SQL, and JDE data structures.
  • Experience with system upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;

O Associate s Degree and 4+ years work experience in lieu of Bachelor s Degree

O High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate of competency and 8+ years work experience in lieu of Bachelor s Degree

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development.
