Summary: The JD Edwards E1 Developer role is a 100% remote position focused on leading the design, development, and implementation of customizations in JD Edwards Enterprise One. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex customizations and enhancements in JD Edwards Enterprise One.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Develop and maintain advanced JDE components including Business Functions (BSFN), NERs, UBE, Orchestrations, and custom integrations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and support staff.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Participate in strategic planning for ERP upgrades, module implementations, and system integrations.
- Stay current with JDE updates, tools, and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and required by management.
Key Skills:
- Experience with JDE 9.2+ and Tools Release 9.2.x.
- Familiarity with BI Publisher, JDE Security, and Workflow.
- Experience integrating JDE with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Background in Agile/Scrum or DevOps environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development.
- Expertise in JDE development tools (FDA, RDA, BSFN, NER, UBE, Orchestrator).
- Strong knowledge of JDE modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Procurement.
- Proficiency in C/C++, SQL, and JDE data structures.
- Experience with system upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
