Summary: The role of JavaScript React Developer involves supporting a SaaS Cloud Bridge Tech Recruitment customer in migrating customer-facing applications from Azure to AWS. Key Responsibilities:
- Building and enhancing React-based frontends for financial services products
- Modernising legacy UI into a cloud-native architecture on AWS
- Collaborating with backend, DevOps and cloud engineering teams during migration
- Delivering high-performance, secure and accessible user interfaces
- Improving DX and UX through component optimisation and UI best practices
- Supporting automated testing and CI/CD workflows
Key Skills:
- Solid understanding of modern React (Hooks, Context, TypeScript a bonus)
- Experience working with APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- AWS exposure (CloudFront, S3, Amplify, Lambda or similar)
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Experience in FinTech or other regulated industries
- Understanding of CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices
- Comfortable in Agile product environments
