Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand existing processes and dependencies in current business.
  • Define technology solutions and roadmap for implementing new systems.
  • Maintain active relationships with project stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Lead requirements gathering meetings and review designs with the product owner.
  • Implement solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects.
  • Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability upon deployment.
  • Identify and implement best practices and coach stakeholders as needed.
  • Create technical documentation and maintain knowledge repositories.
  • Adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Software developers, and application SMEs in implementing complex end-to-end enterprise solutions.
  • Work in onsite/offshore model and agile execution.
  • Possess retail knowledge in supply chain areas like GRS, OMS, WMS, etc.

  • 8+ years of experience in Java and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in cloud technologies and databases.
  • Understanding of mainframe, Unix, and legacy applications.

Sr Technical Lead/SME (Retail) to work on a modernization initiative involving elimination of legacy processes including mainframe jobs, Unix, ESQL scripts and legacy databases such as DB2 and Informix. This requires building an end to end business process with multiple technologies including cloud and future tech stack. Retail Knowledge in Supply Chain area like GRS, OMS, WMS etc is a must have
