Summary: Zenosys is seeking a Java Software Developer for a remote position based in Trenton, NJ. Key Responsibilities:

  • Encode, test, and debug associated software/programs
  • Review, analyze, and modify core and customized software
  • Respond to customer inquiries/requests for technical/operational support
  • Resolve technical matters to meet customer service level agreements
  • Perform root cause analysis/fixes or corrective action of defects
  • Follow documented Software Development Life-Cycle standards
  • Participate in special projects and training, as required
  • Escalate issues to senior levels as required

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Java technologies using Java 1.4 and greater, JSP, XML, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, work instructions, process maps and/or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to ensure application of systems and thinking principles, allowing team members to independently design, code, test, and deploy software. The Software Developer provides the necessary documentation to support the Software Development Life Cycle. Other duties include developing prototypes and solutions and applying modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch new business capabilities. This position is full-time and may require after hours or on-call support including, but not limited weekends and evenings. This role is remote.
