Job Summary
The Java Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks. The role involves working across the full software development lifecycle and collaborating with business, QA, and other technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Design and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Work with Git and CI/CD tools for source control and deployments.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve application performance and production issues.
- Prepare technical documentation where required.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST APIs.
- Good experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a frontend framework such as React or Angular.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Git and software development lifecycle practices.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, or other testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
