Java Documentum Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Sparta, NJ that is seeking a Java Documentum Developer - Enterprise Content & Integration for a 6 month role.

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with Documentum experience to join our enterprise application team. This role focuses on developing scalable Java-based solutions that integrate with content management systems while supporting modernization of legacy platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Java applications integrating with Documentum and other enterprise systems
* Build and consume RESTful APIs for secure and efficient data exchange
* Collaborate with analysts, architects, and infrastructure teams to modernize workflows
* Support Documentum configurations, customizations, and upgrades
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and release cycles

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 3+ years of Java development (Java 8+, Spring Boot or similar)
* 2+ years of experience with Documentum (D2, xCP, Webtop, REST Services)
* Strong ECM knowledge and experience with SQL, XML, JSON
* Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile practices

Preferred Qualifications:
* Cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Documentum REST Services and front-end integration experience
* Enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Kafka)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
