Summary: This role involves leading a team of developers in the implementation of software projects utilizing React, Angular, and Java technologies. The Senior Technical Lead will oversee the technical architecture, development, and deployment of solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and a focus on continuous improvement in development processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design and implementation of software projects using React, Angular, and Java.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Architect and develop robust and scalable software applications utilizing React, Angular, and Java frameworks.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security of developed applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend enhancements and modifications.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent collaboration skills, solid troubleshooting, and strong Java full stack development skills.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
  • Experience of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.).
  • Expertise with Spring Framework.
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL Server, and Oracle is a plus, but we are on SQL.
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and integrating with REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of API security, e.g. OAuth2, OIDC. Experience with Apigee or another API Gateway is a plus.
  • Preferred experience using Docker or another container engine, OpenShift.
  • Hands-on experience in designing systems and developing applications.
  • Knowledge of developing software deployed on cloud-hosted services.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products, Visio, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Experience with JIRA, Jenkins GHA.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong team player, eager to work collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Healthcare and HealthPlan experience a plus.
  • Agile experience.
  • UCD/UCI experience a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in React, Angular, and Java technologies would be a plus.
