Job Description

We are seeking a talented developer with proven experience in building applications using modern technologies, frameworks, and design principles. The role involves working closely with Enterprise Architects to present solutions to the Architecture Review Board and requires expertise in cloud-based environments such as AWS and Azure.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to present solutions to the Architecture Review Board.
• Develop applications using modern technologies and frameworks, ensuring high-quality software solutions.
• Build applications in cloud-based environments like AWS and Azure.
• Utilise Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
• Work with SQL and noSQL database applications, including Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Create and maintain robust automated test suites to support continuous deployment environments.
• Implement APIs, RESTful services, and Microservice Architectures.

• Proven track record of building applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS and Azure.
• Demonstrable experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
• Proficiency in SQL and noSQL database applications such as Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge and experience of APIs, RESTful services, and Microservice Architectures.

This role offers remote working with occasional travel to client locations in Leeds and Manchester for workshops, with travel costs covered. The position is onshore and inside IR35, with immediate start until 26/09/25 and a high likelihood of extension until 31/03/26. The selection process involves CV review, a technical test, and a technical interview.
