About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with Healthcare domain experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services for healthcare applications including EHR, Claims, and Patient Management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java microservices and APIs
- Java spring boot with Apache Spark hands on experience is required
- Work on healthcare applications following HL7, FHIR, HIPAA compliance standards
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with unit tests and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Work with databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL like MongoDB
Must Have Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs
- 3+ years in Healthcare domain - EHR, EMR, Claims, Payers, Providers, or Health Insurance
- Strong experience with Microservices architecture, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes
- Database: SQL + NoSQL - PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB
- Cloud: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform - EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA compliance is mandatory
- Tools: Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito
