About the Role
We're looking for a Java Developer to join a project delivering for a major UK government department.
You'll be building and testing Kubernetes-hosted Java microservices — including Email Ingestion, Data Fetching, and Data Matching — integrated via message queues and AWS EventBridge, backed by a custom relational schema.
You'll also support the team's prompt engineer on AI integration work, alongside code reviews and unit/integration testing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, building, and testing Java microservices deployed on Kubernetes (EKS)
- Working with message-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, SQS, EventBridge)
- Supporting integration of AI/prompt engineering components
- Conducting code reviews and writing unit/integration tests
- Collaborating within an agile delivery team on a public sector project

- Must be SC cleared or SC eligible and willing to undergo clearance (Active SC preferred)
