Job Description:

Optimizing existing IVR experiences and modernizing designs to prepare for the transition to AI-powered conversational bots. Work with agile pods including product owners, scrum masters, business analysts, fellow UXers, and developers, designing both traditional IVR and AI-powered conversation experiences.

  • Interpret business requirements and translate them into effective conversational designs
  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implementable
  • Understand IVR technical constraints and design within platform capabilities
  • Apply knowledge of NLU concepts including intents, entities, and confidence thresholds
  • Balance user experience goals with technical and business constraints
  • Design conversation experiences for both traditional IVR systems and AI-powered bots
  • Develop user-centered designs that optimize existing IVR while preparing for AI bot transition
  • Create comprehensive design documentation including specification documents, call flows, and prompts
  • Produce clear, detailed specifications that guide implementation
  • Proactively seek clarifications and request data access necessary for informed design decisions
  • Serve as the voice of the end user in all design discussions and decisions to support user needs and UX best practices
