Payroll Administrator
Your new company
A well-known public sector organisation is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Payroll Administrator. This individual will join the team on a temporary contract for 8 weeks. The position is fully remote. The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll, analysing data, checking for variances, performing reports back to management, bank journals, reconciliation of payroll accounts, administration of year-end returns, and making payments to third parties. Dealing with sundry payroll matters such as P45/P60/P11D as well as Itrent experience would be beneficial.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role within payroll and be a proficient user of Excel. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines on your own and as part of a team. You will be experienced at running both weekly and monthly payrolls.All applicants must have the UK right to work and clearly demonstrate UK payroll experience.
