Summary: The iTrent Payroll Administrator role involves supporting the Payroll and Pensions Officer in delivering high-quality administrative and payroll services. The position requires managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing guidance to customers. The role is remote and is offered on a 6-month contract basis, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document and update Payroll practices and procedures to meet operational requirements and legislative changes.
- Process reconciliations, deductions, and salary sacrifice arrangements in accordance with client procedures.
- Provide guidance and communications to customers regarding payroll processing for new starts, leave, and changes during employment.
- Develop and maintain guidance materials for customers on payroll-related matters.
- Perform manual adjustments for over/under payments and liaise with HMRC and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintain administrative information filing and archiving systems for efficient data retrieval.
- Compile and present statistical and management information for decision-making purposes.
- Complete payroll documents and transactions in accordance with client procedures and relevant legislation.

- Proficiency in using payroll systems and software, particularly iTrent.
