Summary: The ITIL/Service Transition Manager role involves acting as a liaison between project and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition of new solutions and processes. The position requires extensive experience in IT project management and ITIL practices, particularly in service transition. The role is fully remote and is expected to start as soon as possible for a duration of three months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as ITIL/Service Transition Manager
- Ensure smooth transition to operations team
- Ensure new solutions, processes and procedures are stable and transitioned to operations/support team
- Define and enforce "Ready for Production", "Handover sign-off" and "documentation readiness" criteria for the project team
- Document and hand over to support team
- Manage ticket triage, prioritization and developer-to-support communication
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions between subject matter experts and support staff
- Stakeholder Management
- Manage the formal sign-off process to transition ownership from Project to BAU (Business as Usual)
Key Skills:
- Extensive project experience in IT Project Management, IT Service Management and/or IT Transition Management
- Strong project experience with ITIL v4 (specifically Service Transition and Service Design)
- Splunk or security tooling implementation experience
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management)
- PMP or Prince2 Certification
- Preferred: ITIL v4 Managing Professional (MP) or Strategic Leader (SL) designation qualification
- Experience in large international project environments
- Project experience in the manufacturing industry, production industry, automotive or automotive supplier industry
- Fluency in English

For our international client, we are looking for an experienced ITIL/Service Transition Manager.
You will act as an interface between the project team and the operations team and will ensure a smooth transition to operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that new solutions, processes and procedures are technically sound, fully documented and seamlessly handed over to the client's Operations/Support teams.
You are the gatekeeper of production stability.
Tasks:
