IT Systems Analyst

Our Fortune 100 client is looking for an IT Systems Analyst for a 7 month assignment (through November) with potential for extension. This position is a part of our client's initiative of implementing Planview Portfolios and will collaborate closely with project portfolio analysts and data scientists to analyze historical IT project management data and contribute to AI-driven forecasting solutions that estimate project effort and duration for new and upcoming work. Day to day this resource will be gathering functional and technical requirements via user stories, acceptance criteria and team boards, and also translating business objectives into technical, data, and AI-relevant requirements, including model performance expectations, data quality needs, and system integration considerations. Experience with Planview Portfolios, including internal configurations is highly preferred.

This position is fully remote, but all work must be done within the 48 contiguous states during core business hours of EST. Our client is an industry leader with a large, cutting edge IT shop and great work culture. Apply today to learn more!

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing functional and technical requirements for building AI solutions leveraging highly complex and unstructured datasets.
• Familiarity with industry-standard techniques and tools to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze requirements.
• Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies with experience leading or facilitating Agile team ceremonies.
• Ability to define and document data-related requirements, including data sources, quality expectations, integration points, and governance constraints.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess feasibility and recommend practical solutions.
• Proven ability to facilitate discussions, influence stakeholders, and build consensus across diverse technical and business audiences.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Experience with Planview Portfolios, including internal configurations, or strong aptitude to quickly learn the platform.

Plusses:

• Conceptual understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches.
• Awareness of key factors influencing model performance, with emphasis on data quality, completeness, and relevance over algorithm selection.
• Ability to ask effective data-related questions early in the delivery lifecycle to assess feasibility and risk.
• Familiarity with common AI/ML performance concepts and metrics, such as precision, recall, confidence levels, and model drift.
• Strong facilitation skills to help stakeholders align expectations when business objectives, data realities, or technical feasibility are not fully aligned.
